Winners of Miss Gauteng Exclusive 2023 Pageant are Crowned. On April 29, the Anew Parktonian Hotel hosted the Royal Crowning Finale for the Miss Gauteng Exclusive 2023 pageant, where the winners were announced. Lungile Ntshangase, a 23-year-old from Johannesburg South, was crowned the winner and queen of the Miss Gauteng Exclusive 2023.
Ntshangase mentioned that participating in the Miss Gauteng Exclusive 2023 pageant was her best decision this year, as it provided her with growth and self-discovery. Meeting the Founders of the organization, Kagiso Selele and Annwen Jordan, and the phenomenal ladies who made up this year’s finalists were her golden moments. However, she expressed that her ultimate highlight was attending the Transformational Workshops hosted by the Miss GE Foundation.
Ntshangase’s future plan is to continue with her Wheels Of Change campaign, which aims to eradicate period poverty in society, lend a helping hand through volunteering, and ultimately bring sustainable change to society through outreach projects.
The Miss Gauteng Exclusive program runs for five months before the crowning, and participants attend fully-funded workshops designed to develop them mentally, physically, and emotionally. Intergenerational mentorship and intercultural collaboration are also central to this phase of the competition, where participants learn to restore their character, confidence, and a sense of purpose.

The second place was awarded to Tyreen Patience from Eldorado Park, and Nosipho Mashaba from Johannesburg North took 3rd place. Finally, Asanda Shelembe from Alexandra was awarded the Miss Philanthropy title, while Palesa Motloung was crowned the public choice winner.
The Top three Miss Gauteng Exclusive title holders walk away with beauty hampers valued at R10,000 courtesy of Kryolan professional makeup, designer knitwear swimwear courtesy of Sis Wama Crochet, and Zaza Legacy hampers. Ntshangase, the Queen of Miss Gauteng Exclusive, also walked away with a Dental care package courtesy of Grand Care Dental, ensuring that she has a radiant smile for the duration of her reign.
“I truly feel transformed, and I cannot thank Miss Gauteng Exclusive enough for such an amazing journey,” Ntshangase concluded.
