Marc Lottering and Alfred Adriaan have captivated audiences with their stand-up comedy show, “Alfred & Marc,” building a loyal following over the years. The dynamic duo’s unique mix of hilarious material continues to fill venues, offering a night full of laughs and unforgettable moments.

A Journey of Respect and Inspiration

In a past interview with The Weekend Argus, Adriaan shared an inspiring moment from his career. He recalled sitting in seat Q15 at the Opera House, watching Lottering perform and thinking to himself, “Wow, this guy is amazing.” He never imagined he’d one day share the same stage with him. Lottering, in turn, praised Adriaan for his dedication and focus, adding, “Alfred is a hard worker. He’s focused and knows what he wants. I respect that.”

Their deep mutual respect adds a special magic when they perform together, making each show a memorable experience.

The “Alfred & Marc” show is a no-holds-barred, two-hour experience split into two halves. The first half features 30 minutes from Lottering followed by 30 minutes from Adriaan. The second half reverses the order. Expect a blend of Lottering’s ability to make everyday situations funny and Adriaan’s sharp takes on the complexities of life in South Africa.

Fans who have seen the show have praised the duo for their ability to blend their unique styles. Andre and Sharesthé Koopman, who attended the show on Tuesday, said, “It was a fantastic show. The way Marc and Alfred brought together their unique styles and backgrounds was something special.” The couple added that Marc’s classic characters and the unexpected song finale were the perfect touch to wrap up the night.
