The Bulls Daisies cemented their dominance in South African women’s rugby by securing their third Premier Division title with a commanding 46-31 victory over Western Province in the final at Loftus Versfeld.

Saturday’s clash saw an intense display of attacking rugby, with both teams delivering a total of 12 tries. However, the Bulls Daisies, the only fully professional team in the competition, proved too strong as they continued their impressive run of form. Heading into the final, they had lost just one of their previous 33 matches, reaffirming their status as the top force in domestic women’s rugby.

With the Premier Division now concluded, focus shifts to the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup, set to take place in England from 22 August to 27 September. South Africa has been drawn into Pool D, where they will face France, Italy, and Brazil. Their campaign begins on 31 August with a crucial opening match against Italy.
