Red Cross Organises ‘Walk for Change’ Event in the Near Future

The Red Cross and Eventide Old Age Home are preparing for ‘Walk for Change,’ an upcoming fundraising event on April 7.

Participants will run or walk one of the three courses—a 5km, 10km, or children’s race course. All finishers will be given participation medals. The 5km walk charge is R70, the 10km walk registration fee is R100, and the children’s walk (under 18s) charge is R45.

For refreshments, post-walk, boerewors rolls, and cold drinks will be available. All proceeds from the event will support the elderly residents of the home located at 7 Derby Avenue.
