Minister of Finance Enoch Godongwana invites citizens to share their thoughts on the National Budget for the upcoming budget speech. Per SANews, residents can make their submissions on various aspects, including:
- municipal finances,
- government spending priorities,
- addressing a large budget deficit,
- stabilising state-owned entity finances,
- managing the energy crisis,
- tax revenues, and
- debt sustainability.
You can submit your comments by 11 February 2024. Budget allocation balances the economy’s growth and supports the vulnerable amid limited resources. The Ministry encourages citizens to contribute, and Minister Godongwana looks forward to receiving valuable insights.
