Tshwane suspended the A Re Yeng bus service

Tshwane suspended the A Re Yeng bus service after an act of vandalism this morning, where perpetrators pelted the first bus with stones along Lavender Road en route to Wonderboom. Metro spokesperson Lindela Mashigo reported that the windscreen on the driver’s side was smashed, fortunately, with no injuries to the driver or passengers. The driver was the only one on board during the incident.

Tshwane has temporarily suspended all A Re Yeng bus operations with immediate effect to ensure the safety of drivers and commuters. The Tshwane bus service (TBS) operations also remain suspended, prompting commuters to make alternative transport arrangements. The metro authorities will inform the public about any updates and developments concerning the bus service operations.
