Tshwane Metro Vigilantly Monitors Water Consumption
Rand Water and the Tshwane metro have jointly responded to increased water demand driven by warmer weather, implementing interim water-saving measures as reported by Rnews.

They have resolved to boost water volumes in critical reservoirs, shifting water from healthier systems to address areas facing depletion due to high consumption.
A daily technical task force comprising officials from the Department of Water and Sanitation, Rand Water, and the Tshwane Metro will assess the water supply and demand, introducing further measures if necessary.
Both entities have reiterated their commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable drinking water and called on residents to conserve water.
