Police Launch Investigation into Arson Attack on Five Trucks on N4 Highway

In a concerning incident, the police have confirmed the torching of five trucks on the N4 highway in Mpumalanga near the Waterval Boven area. According to reports, a group of individuals arrived in two vehicles. Eyewitness News reported that they halted the trucks, instructing the drivers to exit their vehicles.

Shockingly, the unknown group set the trucks, which were carrying goods, on fire. The police have made no arrests. But they were at the scene today to initiate their investigation.

Speaking about the ongoing situation, Selvy Mohala from the police stated, “We are still on the scene. We would advise motorists traveling from Pretoria towards Nelspruit to utilise the Schomanskloof turnoff and exercise caution. We are continuing with our investigation.”

Authorities are investigating this alarming incident.
