The Empact Group in Frankenwald recently celebrated Heritage Day on September 19, embracing the diverse range of traditions, customs, and beliefs that form South Africa’s collective heritage. The rooftop braai-themed event saw employees don cultural attire representing various customs native to South Africa.

CEO of Empact Group, Alan Quinn, highlighted that this marked the fourth consecutive year of bringing employees together to promote understanding of each other’s heritages.

Quinn stated, “Heritage Day serves as an annual celebration where we honor not only South African heritages but also our organizational heritage. It is a time to celebrate our cultures, values, purpose, and organizational identity while enjoying some leisure time.”

The vibrant display of colors showcased through beautiful textiles added to the festive atmosphere as staff engaged with one another over food and drinks, acknowledging the rich heritage present in Sandton.
