The City of Tshwane intends to temporarily shut down its municipal offices during the Easter weekend, which will affect non-critical services. Within this framework, the local agencies temporarily ceased operations at noon on Thursday and will resume on Monday, as reported by Jacaranda FM.

Although this closure may cause some residents inconvenience, the city’s call centre for different services remains available. Services such as addressing power failures and water and sanitation issues will continue to be available, ensuring that critical needs are met during this period.

The decision to close municipal offices aligns with the holiday schedule and aims to optimize resource allocation while allowing employees to observe the Easter weekend. During this temporary closure, residents are encouraged to plan accordingly and utilize alternative channels for urgent matters.
