South African Scotties are closer to returning home – Update

Published

on

Scottish terriers and their owner, Adam Young, have been at the centre of attention after they were prevented from leaving Sudan.

Adam stayed behind with his beloved dogs, Isla and Nyala, to ensure their safe return to South Africa. Fortunately, a team of volunteers led by Amanda-Leigh Robinson has been working tirelessly to get them all home.

The trio is staying with Andy and Shelley Drynan, but they need to find new IATA-approved cages and permanent housing.

In addition, the team is waiting for a quote from the Cairo agency regarding flight arrangements and clearance certificates. Amanda-Leigh emphasized the importance of respecting officials and thanked those who have contributed to the expenses thus far.

The team eagerly awaits the next update on the booking of a flight.
