Sex And The City Creator Takes One-Woman Show to South Africa

Candace Bushnell, the renowned creator of the iconic ‘Sex And The City’ franchise, is set to captivate South African audiences with her thought-provoking one-woman show. Showtime SA has announced the show dates, which will take place at Johannesburg’s Teatro, Montecasino, and the Artscape in Cape Town during September and October as reported by Cape Talk.

Originally, ‘Sex And The City’ emerged as a newspaper column penned by Bushnell for The New York Observer in the mid-1990s. It quickly gained popularity, leading to the publication of a bestselling book. However, the television series starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon truly propelled Bushnell to stardom.
