Relocation of SARS Alberton Tax and Customs Branches

The customs branch will temporarily reopen as a pop-up branch located in the training centre at the Alberton campus, 28 St Austell St, New Redruth, Alberton. This branch opened its doors on July 24, operating from 08:00 to 16:00 on Mondays to Fridays.

Likewise, the tax branch has reopened at Alberton City Mall, specifically at shops 21 and 22, level 1 (entrance 10), on the corner of Voortrekker Road and Du Plessis Street, New Redruth, on the same date, July 24.

A mobile tax unit will be stationed at the old branch to cater to the scheduled walk-in appointments until July 28. The unit will operate from 08:00 to 16:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, while on Wednesdays and Fridays, the hours will be from 09:00 to 16:00.

All current services will be available at the new locations, but access will only be available by appointment. To book an appointment, simply send an SMS with the word ‘Booking’ along with your ID number to 47277, or you can book via the website.
