Clarins recently marked the introduction of its latest product, Double Serum 9, through a captivating pop-up event held at Sandton City’s Central Court.

The event commenced on September 18 and paid tribute to nine influential South African women, collectively known as ‘the Power Nine.’ These women include Carol Bouwer, Amanda Dambuza, Rachel Kolisi, Lesego Mpyane, Deborah Chambers, Ntandoyenkosi Kunene, Thameenah, Gugu Xaba, and Celeste Khumalo.

Nthabiseng Makhoka, the communications specialist at Clarins, stated that these women were selected for their embodiment of strength and forward-thinking, aligning with the serum’s objective to enhance the future of skincare.

The event encompassed makeup masterclasses and self-care sessions, underscoring Clarins’ dedication to sustainability and community assistance.

Significantly, a portion of each sale will contribute to Save the Children, with additional backing for their programs facilitated through Clarins’ collaboration with the Red Movement.

Makhoka expressed enthusiasm about the partnership with these impactful organizations, emphasizing, “Our collaboration with Lesego Mpyane and Gugu Xaba, in support of sustainable sanitary products and early childhood development, is a cause we ardently support.”
