- Avoid filling swimming pools.
- Consider installing low-flow shower heads and tap aerators where feasible.
- Opt for a dual-flush toilet cistern.
- Plant indigenous or drought-resistant shrubs in the garden.
- Use a broom instead of a hosepipe for cleaning driveways or patios.
- Collect rainwater for reuse in the garden or car washing.
- Cover swimming pools to reduce water evaporation.
- Take shorter showers instead of baths.
- Turn off taps while brushing teeth or shaving.
- Regularly check for leaks in toilets and taps.
- Avoid filling storage tanks to allow the system to stabilize.
