Fatal Krugersdorp road rage incident claims one life and leaves another injured

A road rage incident in Krugersdorp resulted in the tragic death of a 31-year-old man. It injured another man near the Pinehaven intersection crossing close to the N14 highway.

According to Gauteng police spokesperson Dimakatso Nevhululwi, the incident occurred Sunday evening. What started as road rage escalated into shots fired between the drivers.

Information regarding the shooting is still unclear. However, the authorities have arrested a 44-year-old man. The police have seized his firearm, which they will put through ballistics testing.

The alleged shooter will soon appear in the Krugersdorp Magistrate’s Court to face charges.
