Replace lost Umalusi certificates online

Umalusi launched online replacement of lost certificates, reducing time and costs. Applicants can use their cell phone or computer to apply and pay R137 to collect the replacement within two days or R202 for a 7-day delivery anywhere in South Africa as reported by SA News.

Kenya National Examinations Council presented a similar system.

Universities praised the move, and online verification of results will help during registration. Officials from education stakeholder organizations in South Africa, Botswana, and Kenya attended the webinar.
