In her presentation, Kruyer took a unique approach to addressing bullying, focusing on how learners can train their brains and take responsibility for their actions and words. The talk centred around understanding innate human behaviour, allowing learners to gain perspective and control over impulsive actions and fostering empathy, kindness, and well-rounded individuality.

The learners found the talk engaging, particularly when Kruyer likened their brains to pets, emphasising the need for training and responsibility. Drawing from her wealth of knowledge and experience, Kruyer provided insightful guidance to the Reddam House Helderfontein learners, inspiring them to take ownership of their lives.
