President Ramaphosa has given assurance to ambassadors that South Africa is taking measures to achieve stable electricity supply
President Cyril Ramaphosa welcomed 18 newly accredited ambassadors to South Africa and assured them that the country is making every effort to ensure a stable electricity supply. He acknowledged that South Africa, like the rest of the world, is still recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic and rebuilding its economy as reported by the SABC News.
The President stated that the government is implementing measures to stabilize the energy supply by improving the performance of existing power stations and adding more generating capacity.
Furthermore, he emphasized that the administration is committed to restoring effective governance, stabilizing public finances, and eradicating corruption and mismanagement to achieve policy certainty.
