Akhona Dyantyi, the reigning champ in singles pool competition, has qualified for the South African Black Ball Pool National Championships. Despite pool not being as popular as other sports, Dyantyi has always been passionate about it and enjoyed playing with friends as a pastime. Now, he recognises that the sport can open doors for him and lead to exciting opportunities.

Having been selected by the South African Blackball Federation Gauteng to represent the region in the upcoming championships, Dyantyi is eager to compete nationally for the first time. His eyes are set on victory, as the winner earns a chance to represent South Africa in England early next year.

To make his dream a reality and proudly represent Gauteng, Dyantyi is seeking donations to cover his travel expenses. If you’re in a position to assist Akhona, you can contact him at 078 121 9954.
