Police need help finding missing Mamelodi man

Mamelodi police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing individual.

Joseph Bhonga (41) from Phase 4 in Mamelodi was reported missing on August 3.

According to Police spokesperson, Constable Penelope Khulong, Bhonga’s friend, Lazarus Mafuma, reported his disappearance.

Mafuma claimed that on Saturday, August 18, one of his cousins informed him about Bhonga’s disappearance.

The last sighting of Bhonga was on August 3 by a friend who had left him with his belongings.

“The friend mentioned that upon returning for his belongings, Joseph was nowhere to be found and has remained missing since then,” stated Khulong.

Details about Bhonga’s attire on the day he went missing remain unknown.

Individuals possessing information on his whereabouts are urged to contact Mamelodi East SAPS at 012 815 7079 or Crime Stop at 08600 10111.

Alternatively, the public can provide information via the MySAPS App.
