Warrant Officer Johan van Dyk, the police spokesperson, stated that the operation included high-visibility patrols, inspections of liquor outlets and second-hand dealers, and targeted searches in identified hotspots. In the initial phase, 293 suspects were apprehended for serious offenses, including cases related to gender-based violence, murder, attempted murder, armed robbery, and rape.

During targeted searches of 20 premises, four suspects were arrested for possession of illegal substances, including crystal meth, cocaine, and illicit cigarettes. Other arrests were made for driving under the influence, possession of weapons, and assault related to domestic violence.

Enforcement actions also resulted in the issuance of 132 fines for traffic violations totaling R60,700, along with the impoundment of six taxis for non-compliance with road traffic regulations.
