A fresh and original pocket musical Actress, conceived and written by Talia Kodesh and Bruce Dennill, is set to captivate audiences at Pieter Toerien’s Studio Theatre at Montecasino from September 27th to October 8th, 2023.

“Actress” is a musical dramedy that delves into a woman’s life, navigating her various roles, including actress, wife, mother, daughter, and teacher, all while managing the complexities of these responsibilities. The story unfolds across New York and South Africa, tracing the protagonist’s journey through challenges and successes, auditions and emotions, and a surprising source of support.

Featuring direction by Daniel Geddes, the production promises a relatable narrative for anyone who has faced adjusting to new expectations in different aspects of life.

Talia Kodesh, who stars in the lead role, shared her excitement about returning to the stage after focusing on motherhood.
