Oscar Pistorius Returns Home, Confirms Correctional Services Department
Oscar Pistorius is back home. The former Paralympian was convicted of killing Reeva Steenkamp in 2013. According to EWN, Pistorius was granted parole in November. Pistorius completed a pre-release program before his release on Friday.

Despite the media gathering outside Atteridgeville Prison, the Correctional Services Department kept his release details confidential. In an official statement, the department confirmed Pistorius’ parole status, stating that he is now part of the Community Corrections system and is currently at home.
