Oakfields Welcomes a New Medical Center
Oakfields Shopping Centre has recently introduced the Health Worx Medical Centre as one of its new tenants. Health Worx, a well-established provider of premium healthcare services to the community for the past 18 years, is expanding its presence in Gauteng, marking the opening of its ninth clinic within the region.

During the official centre opening on August 31, CEO Wim van Zyl highlighted the brand’s commitment to providing comprehensive medical facilities prioritising patients’ well-being and comfort. The facility currently includes four general practitioners, two dentists, and a fully equipped casualty department for emergency care.
Van Zyl also revealed that the centre offers pathology services, with plans to introduce a full X-ray department shortly. Moreover, additional specialised medical services, including a baby and travel clinic, are in the pipeline.
Exciting developments are on the horizon, with plans to welcome a dietician, orthodontist, psychologist, and psychiatrist to the centre’s roster of healthcare professionals. The overarching goal remains centred on offering patient-focused, family-oriented medical care where every individual’s needs are paramount.
