Water Woes: Parts of Benoni Left Without Water

There is no water in parts of Benoni as an unplanned water supply interruption affects areas including Airfield, Northmead, Farramere, Brentwood Park, Rynfield, and Goedeburg.

The water supply interruption was caused by a faulty pump at Farrah Tower, according to metro spokesperson Zweli Dlamini. Technicians are investigating the problem and have yet to establish an estimated time for restoration.

To address the inconvenience, the City of Ekurhuleni has provided water tankers to residents in Benoni. Residents should stay updated on the city’s digital platforms for further information.
