Powerful Hail Storm Hits Parts of Joburg, No Injuries Reported
Emergency services in Johannesburg confirm that no injuries have been reported in the aftermath of a potent hailstorm that swept through various parts of the city.
SABC News reports that the intense hailstorm left a trail of damage, particularly affecting vehicles in areas such as Paulshof, Rosebank, Sandton, along the N1 highway, and Marlboro.

Robert Mulaudzi, the spokesperson for Johannesburg emergency services, assured the public that they maintain a heightened state of alert throughout the night. He stated, “So far, we don’t have any injuries that have been reported. However, as emergency services, we remain on high alert overnight to make sure we can respond to all incidents that might be reported overnight.”
The absence of reported injuries is a relief for residents, with emergency services standing ready to address any further incidents that may arise.
