Among them are Anke Rothmann (23) from the Northern Cape, Bryoni Govender (26) from Gauteng, Homba Mazaleni (23) from the Eastern Cape, Jordan van der Vyver (27) from the Western Cape, Melissa Nayimuli (27) from the Eastern Cape, Nande Mabala (25) from the Western Cape, and Natasha Joubert (25) from Gauteng.

A New Dimension:
Notably, this year marks the inclusion of married women and mothers in the competition, showcasing the pageant’s evolution. Jordan van der Vyver is the remaining contestant who holds this distinction.

The selection process leading to the finalists unfolded through Miss South Africa’s engaging five-part reality series, Crown Chasers, broadcast on SABC 3. Crafted by Nungu Diamonds’ creative director and co-founder Ursula Pule, this masterpiece is set to adorn the winner. Nungu Diamonds, the exclusive crown and jewellery sponsor for the next three years, has already crafted pieces for esteemed local celebrities, accentuating their connection to South African luxury.

The judging panel for this year’s beauty pageant comprises distinguished figures, including reigning Miss Universe R’Bonney Gabriel, Leandie du Randt, Devi Sankaree Govender, Jo-Ann Strauss, and L’Oréal Paris brand ambassador and actor Thuso Mbedu.
