Anticipated New Witness in Senzo Meyiwa Trial Within a Trial

A new witness will appear today in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial within a trial held at the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria. As per SABC News, this trial involves five men who face accusations of the murder of the soccer star, who was fatally shot in 2014 at Kelly Khumalo’s residence in Vosloorus, East of Johannesburg.

In the recent legal proceedings, the defence for accused individuals one and two, Sipho Ramosepele, has appointed Advocate Thulani Mngomezulu to assist with the case. Mngomezulu stated that he is ready to proceed regarding the evidence provided by the magistrate, and he intends to apply for the recall of Colonel Mbotho and Sergeant Monareng.

Additionally, Judge Ratha Mokgoathleng has ordered the recall of two state witnesses who previously testified during the trial.
