A theatrical production titled “My Boetie se Sussie se Ou” is set to grace the stage at the Theatre of Marcellus in Emperors Palace from October 16 to 20.

This play delves into the complexities of John Smith’s life, a character familiar to fans of “My Vrou se Man se Vrou,” a taxi driver juggling two wives and two families.

<p"Fast forward 18 years in "My Boetie se Sussie se Ou," John finds himself managing two separate families in different parts of London, each unaware of the other's existence and content in their own worlds.

However, when John’s teenage children from each family connect on social media and plan a face-to-face meeting, John’s intricate balancing act is suddenly thrown into chaos as he struggles to maintain the separation.

The play will be presented in Afrikaans, under the direction and production of Frans Swart.
