A murder suspect got 15 years imprisonment in court. According to recent developments, the suspect was involved in a case in Ophirton on December 1, 2021, and has later received his sentencing. An on-duty Booysens SAPS police officer received a complaint about the murder and promptly initiated an investigation.

SAPS members went to the scene, finding a witness who pointed out the deceased. They gave the docket to Sergeant Mulalo Ramashia to investigate, which resulted in an arrest. They linked the suspect to another case at Booysens SAPS for possessing an unlicensed firearm.

After investigation and collection of evidence, the docket went to court, where the murder suspect received a sentence of 15 years of direct imprisonment.
