Metro warns of eight-hour water supply interruption in Centurion
Residents in certain areas of Centurion will experience a temporary water supply interruption on Wednesday, October 9, due to essential maintenance work being carried out by metro plumbers.
The metropolitan municipality has announced that plumbers will be installing an 80mm water meter at Erf 293, Swartkop, 383-JR.
Tshwane metro spokesperson, Lindela Mashigo, stated that the scheduled work is expected to span eight hours, commencing at 08:00 and concluding at 16:00. As a result, water supply disruptions will affect the following areas:
– Raslouw Ext 19, 20, 32, 33, 34, and 65
– Celtisdal Ext 33 and 39
“The City of Tshwane sincerely apologises for any inconvenience that may arise during this planned water supply interruption,” Mashigo expressed.
Residents are advised to prepare by storing an adequate amount of water for household use during this period.
