The recovered vehicle, with its load missing, clearly shows that the car-jacking syndicate is enjoying the upper hand in the region, giving it a giant impetus to capture other suspects.
With the court hearing schedules in sight, the accused will appear before the Roodepoort Magistrate’s Court on Friday. They will face the law in full for their alleged involvement in Fleurs’ untimely departure.
Fleur, who signed a two-year deal with Kaizer Chiefs and only joined them recently, had never played an official game for Amakhosi. Nevertheless, his presence on the court stood out as a symbol of his dreams and willingness to descend into the field where he excelled.
