Magalies: Four individuals apprehended for burglary and theft

Four men were arrested in Magaliesburg for their involvement in a housebreaking and theft incident after a tip-off from the community. According to Sergeant Kgomotso Mogwere, a spokesperson for the Magaliesburg Police, the suspects were between 33 and 37 years old and were apprehended at the Ga-Mogale Location. The police received the tip-off on May 5th and were given the location of the stolen property.

The team, which included members from visible policing, detectives, and support services, immediately acted on the tip-off and apprehended the suspects at the same address.

The stolen items recovered included electrical appliances, electronics, pots, bedding sheets, and other valuables.

Preliminary investigations linked the stolen property to two cases of housebreaking and theft, and investigations are ongoing.

Magaliesburg Police Station Commander Lieutenant Colonel Mawewe Vuma expressed satisfaction with the community’s role in partnering with the police.
