Kliprivier SAPS addresses GBV
As Women’s Month drew to a close, the men and women in blue of Kliprivier SAPS reached out to locals from their policing precinct to host an awareness programme.
The officers and volunteers led a door-to-door campaign at Pills Farm, addressing gender-based violence while distributing informative pamphlets on August 29.
Locals could interact with officers on issues they face in their community. Sergeant Ndhambi Tintswalo of Kliprivier SAPS said the community warmly welcomed the initiative.
