Kingswood Village hosts fun walk for seniors
Residents of a local retirement village in the east recently participated in a group walk filled with joy on a sunny Thursday. The Kingswood Retirement Village organized this fun walk as part of its annual programme, providing the elderly residents an opportunity to relish the beauty of their community.
The event was attended by 35 enthusiastic participants, ranging from 60 to 93 years old, who enjoyed a leisurely stroll in the picturesque surroundings, accompanied by their children and grandchildren.
Annemarie Naudé, the spokesperson for Kingswood Retirement Village, highlighted that their retirement home is highly sought-after by seniors looking for a fulfilling lifestyle. She mentioned that the trustees and management prioritize promoting residents’ overall well-being through creative ageing.
