Alberton Cobras Shotokan Karate Club bagged 52 medals in a provincial competition

The Alberton-based Cobras Shotokan Karate Club recently participated in the Goju-Ryu Goshukan All Styles Karate Challenge in Brakpan, where 330 karate students from across Gauteng gathered for this highly competitive tournament. The event showcased the significant turnout and level of competition.

The local club displayed exceptional performance, returning with a total of 52 medals. They hold practice sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays, catering to both beginners from 17:30 to 18:30 and advanced classes from 18:30 to 19:30 at Ascot Mews located at 19 Heidelberg Avenue in Newmarket.
