Jub Jub briefly appeared in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court last February and voluntarily surrendered to the police in July 2023, leading to his arrest. These charges, stemming from incidents dating back to 2006, involve multiple women.

Despite being granted bail, Jub Jub must strictly adhere to conditions prohibiting contact with victims or complainants. His legal representative, Terrence Baloyi, has raised doubts about the strength of the state’s case against him. However, the National Prosecuting Authority maintains confidence in the evidence despite discrepancies in the reported dates of the incidents.

The latest report against Jub Jub dates back to February 2022.
