Jub Jub Granted R10,000 Bail Following Arrest: Latest Update
Famous rapper and TV personality Molemo Maarohanye, widely known as Jub Jub, has been granted R10,000 bail by the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court.
The state did not oppose his bail application as reported by the SABC News. However, the court has mandated that he surrender his passport to the authorities, forbidding him from leaving the country until the case’s conclusion.

Earlier, Gauteng police verified that Jub Jub turned himself in and has since been arrested and charged with rape, assault, and attempted murder.
Police spokesperson Lt Col Mavela Masondo stated, “Police can confirm that a well-known rapper handed himself over to the police in Brixton on Thursday after a warrant of arrest was issued against him. He is expected to appear before the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court today, facing charges of rape, attempted murder, and assault.”
