Joburg residents to store water before the planned outage

Johannesburg Water advises Joburg residents to store water before the planned outage. The planned water shutdown is scheduled from 11 to 13 July. SABC News reports that the shutdown will affect various areas, including Roodepoort, Randburg, central JHB, Ennerdale, Langlaagte, Southdale, Soweto, and other areas receiving direct feed from Rand Water.

According to spokesperson Nombuso Tshabalala, the shutdown is necessary for Rand Water to install isolation valves and upgrade systems. Johannesburg Water has published a detailed list of affected areas on its website and will provide updates through its social media platforms.
