Joburg Mayor faces fraud charge as victims speak out against his investment company, iThemba Lama Afrika as reported by ENCA.

The charge was laid by individuals who claim they were deceived into investing in the company with the promise of significant returns.

The Democratic Alliance has backed the complainants and is calling for accountability and justice.

However, Gwamanda’s party, AL Jamah-ah, has dismissed the allegations as petty politicking by the DA.

The mayor has not yet publicly responded to the criminal complaint.
