Joburg highway assault victims are SANDF members

The Joburg highway assault victims are SANDF members, according to the South African National Defence Union, triggering a wave of outrage over the actions of some members of the Deputy President’s VIP Protection Unit. eNCA reported on Popcru spokesperson Richard Mamabolo sharing insights into the incident.

The union reveals that the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) has already interviewed the victims and advised them against engaging with the police during the ongoing investigation.
