Husky Heaven Rescue Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Rainbow Birthday Party

Husky Heaven Rescue, a registered non-profit organisation, commemorated its 10th anniversary last Saturday with a vibrant rainbow birthday party.

The event served as a heartwarming tribute to the numerous furry companions who have discovered their forever homes through the rescue’s diligent efforts.

Established in 2014, Husky Heaven has offered shelter to over 60 Huskies and various other breeds, each with a unique tale of survival. Many of these canines have been rescued from the streets, abandoned, or entrusted to the organisation in urgent need of care.

The rescue’s committed team diligently works towards rehabilitating, spaying/neutering, vaccinating, microchipping, and deworming every dog under their care. They provide a nurturing environment, complete with spacious outdoor areas, well-maintained dog housing, and swimming facilities.

To sustain the rescue’s ongoing success and cover the expenses associated with caring for these animals, Husky Heaven relies on generous donations from the public. Events such as the Rainbow Birthday Party offer an excellent opportunity for individuals to engage with the dogs, gain insight into the rescue’s activities, and support their mission.

The atmosphere at the celebration brimmed with joy and enthusiasm. Attendees were welcomed by Kenji, the beloved mascot of Husky Heaven, and indulged in delectable food, canine treats, and live entertainment, including a performance by gospel artist and devoted HHR volunteer Priscilla Babu.

For those desiring a lasting token of their support, Jane Doe Ink provided tattoo services during the event, with half of the proceeds directed towards the rescue. It was a courageous gesture for attendees to display their dedication to Husky Heaven’s cause.

The Rainbow Birthday Party culminated as a remarkable success, exemplifying the love and commitment invested in rescuing and nurturing these remarkable animals. Husky Heaven expresses gratitude for the enduring support of the community and anticipates many more years of positively impacting the lives of dogs in need.
