Stolen BMW Motorcycles Recovered in High-Speed Chase in Sinoville

A high-speed chase in Sinoville unfolded, leading to the recovery of two stolen BMW motorcycles. The chase began when a patrol unit along Sefako Makgatho Drive, in response to a vehicle theft, spotted a car matching the suspect description. Proshield’s R3 unit confirmed the registration number.

As the Ford Fiesta headed towards the N1 south tollgate, a white Toyota Quantum pursued it. Two stolen bikes were inside the Quantum. The chase continued as the vehicle exited onto the Stormvoël offramp and approached Mamelodi.

Officers called in additional support, and the Quantum eventually came to a halt after running over a bush sleeper’s legs. The suspects quickly abandoned the vehicle and fled, but the authorities successfully recovered two stolen BMW bikes.
