Local learners excel in the Global Mental Maths Challenge

Crawford International College Sandton learners showcased their exceptional mathematical skills on a global stage, competing in the prestigious Mental Maths Challenge against participants from 59 countries.

In the first round of the competition, Moath Hakami from Crawford Sandton secured the remarkable top position in South Africa, demonstrating outstanding mental calculation abilities. Rushil Balla achieved a commendable sixth place, with Rahul Mistry in 11th place, and Alexia De Jesus in 13th place, as highlighted by the school’s mathematics teacher, Freddy Musada.

These exceptional results are a testament to the learners’ hard work, dedication, and exceptional mathematical talent, reflecting not only their personal commitment but also the quality of education and support provided by their school and community.
