Ghanaian church was robbed at gunpoint

A Ghanaian church was robbed at gunpoint over the weekend. As per iHarare Media, the incident occurred on Sunday, 29 October. During a church service, two armed assailants invaded and robbed the congregants.

The terrifying incident transpired as the pastor delivered his sermon from the pulpit. Out of nowhere, two armed men forcibly entered the premises, threatening the congregation and seizing their possessions. The preacher, in particular, had no respite as the robbers wielded a firearm and forcibly confiscated his phone.

The robbers instructed the congregation to prostrate themselves on the floor while the robbery persisted. One was wearing black trousers, a long-sleeved black t-shirt and white sneakers.

The suspects also abducted one of the church deacons. He is currently missing. SAPS is diligently working to secure the safe return of the kidnapped deacon to his loved ones.
