The Boksburg Advertiser is teaming up with the Catholic Women’s League (CWL) Boksburg to support their Gatsby High Tea fundraiser, and it’s a chance for you to win big while contributing to a great cause.

This Gatsby-themed event is about raising funds for the CWL Boksburg cancer fund, and all proceeds will go towards this noble cause. Fantastic prizes are up for grabs, including a two-night stay for six people at the charming Crane Cottage in the picturesque Dullstroom, courtesy of Boksburg Advertiser and Dullstroom Reservations.

But here’s the real treat: one lucky reader can win a table for ten at the Gatsby High Tea event. You can invite nine friends or family members to your lavishly decorated table. Boksburg Advertiser will also ensure it’s beautifully adorned and filled with delectable food and refreshments.

Supporting the CWL Boksburg Cancer Fund

The CWL Boksburg Cancer Fund began in 2007 with a mission to assist those in need of cancer treatment who were struggling to access and pay for it. Over the years, the fund has hosted annual fundraisers and received support from well-known personalities.

Funds raised go to purchase equipment and essential items for various NPOs and cover oncology treatment, medication, specialist doctors’ fees, and, in some cases, groceries for cancer patients. While the CWL may not be able to provide 100% financing, they lend a helping hand where they can.

Membership numbers have decreased over time, and the CWL actively seeks more members to continue their mission of assisting the community.

This spacious six-sleeper cottage boasts three bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and an inviting open fireplace.
