This discovery led to Layla’s musical journey, which began with her teacher informing her mother of the remarkable talent.

With a Ghanaian father and a South African mother, her diverse background influences her music, drawing her towards the rhythmic beats of Afrobeats and the energetic vibes of amapiano.
Despite her affinity for Afrobeats and amapiano, Layla refuses to be pigeonholed into a single genre.
