In a recent development, Dudu Myeni, the former SAA chair, has been granted bail by the Richards Bay Magistrates Court. As per EWN, this decision comes after allegations of fraud and corruption against her.

Myeni voluntarily handed herself over for arrest on Friday morning, accompanied by Trevor Mathenjwa, a former director of Bosasa. Subsequently, both individuals appeared in court, where they sought bail.

These charges revolve around purported kickbacks Myeni allegedly received during her tenure as SAA’s chairperson. The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) asserts that Mathenjwa played a role in facilitating these transactions.

Sindisiwe Seboka, representing the Investigating Directorate, announced that the case involving Dudu Myeni and Trevor Mathenjwa of Sondolo IT has been postponed until the 17th of November. Bail has been set at R10,000 for each of them.
