Festive Crackdown on Crime Underway

Multiple law enforcement agencies recently collaborated on a crime-fighting operation within the Brackendowns SAPS precinct. During the operation, Lieutenant Colonel Antoinette Foord, the precinct’s Vispol head, addressed several organisations, including the CPF, AfriForum, Fox Security, CPS Security, and Expol Security, to discuss crime hotspots in the area.

The operation yielded positive results, leading to the arrest of two individuals for drug dealing and the recovery of a hijacked white Ford Ranger. Additionally, Brackendowns detectives apprehended a male suspect for perjury. This individual had previously reported a hijacking incident on October 14, but further investigation revealed that he had fabricated the story, and his passenger confirmed the true details of the incident. The suspect is set to appear in the Palm Ridge court.

The successful joint operation demonstrated the effectiveness of collaborative efforts in tackling crime within the community.
